Welcome to Our Clinic

We have veterinarians and personnel on duty 7 days a week who are trained and equipped to handle any urgent care your pet has. Usually an emergency team consists of at least one veterinarian and several technicians working together to save a pet’s life. Emergencies can be things such as accidental ingestion of rat poison, hit by car, and chocolate ingestion. If you ever feel that your pet needs emergency treatment do not hesitate to call or come in immediately.

We are also available for urgent care when the condition is not life-threatening. If you feel your pet needs to be seen before you are able to get an appointment, our veterinarians will work to “squeeze” you in between scheduled appointments. When you arrive, our receptionists will be able to give you an estimate on how long you may have to wait in order to be seen. We do our best to let emergencies first.

Meet Our Team

Laura D.

Veterinary Receptionist

Laura has brought her lifelong knowledge about animal love and compassion from the beautiful countryside she grew up in. She truly connects with the cats and dogs of any age and loves to be around them especially when they are hospitalized or need to have the extra cuddly times to make them feel secure and calm. Besides her white Bichon Frisé back home, she has helped her parents foster and raise baby Kangourous at their farm house in Australia’s countryside and is also having the great company of her pet Cameleon here in Toronto!

Emily P.

Seasonal Receptionist
University of Guelph Student
Emily’s interest for pet care starts at home where she lives with her two beautiful dogs …(will tell you tomorrow)… and ….(?)….. . Her compassionate and caring abilities towards pets and their parents is highly recognized at the Clinic. Emily’s love for animal care does not stop at home or at the Clinic as she is preparing for Veterinary School. When it comes to being attentive to the medical needs of hospitalized pets, Emily knows the ways to assure the furry patients are comfortable until their care is received and makes sure they are alright during their stay as well.

Abbey J.

Co-op student
Abbey loves to be around animals and caring for them. In her co-op journey, she helps hospitalized patients to feel as tranquil as possible while they are receiving their medical care at the Clinic.
